2015 Northwoods Child Care Educators Workshop
Join child care education professionals from throughout northern Wisconsin for a full day of learning, networking, and sharing best practices at the 2015 Northwoods Child Care Educators Workshop. Hosted by the Northwoods Association for the Education of Young Children (Northwoods AEYC) and Nicolet College, the workshop is designed for child care providers, educators, and others who work with children from birth through school age.

Best Practices in Child Care Education (8 am – 2:30 pm)
Breakout sessions include Motivate with Music, Circle Time Makes Us Crazy, School Age Curricular Framework, Pathways to Entrepreneurship, Intentional Teaching, From Chaos to Calm, Science is in the Art, and Classroom Arrangement Strategies.
Registration Fee: $30 ($17.41 for age 62 and over)
Pediatric First Aid with CPR and AED (8 am – 3:30 pm)
Designed to meet regulatory requirements for child care workers, you’ll gain knowledge and skills on how to manage illness and injuries in a child in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.
Registration Fee: $49 ($23.83 for age 62 and over)
Registration fee includes continental breakfast, lunch, workshop materials, and continuing education hours. First Aid/CPR registration fee includes required textbook and American Heart Association certification card.
